Coming off an exciting OBS March sale, OBS April did not disappoint for us!
This time around we had two horses go through the ring.

The first one was HIP 245, a gorgeous stocky Florida bred colt by Mutasaabeq, and he is the first foal out of the Empire Maker mare, Sugar and Sass. This colt was picked out and purchased by our Assistant Farm Manager Beth Sickler and our trainer and consignor Abraham Gardea in October for $19,000. For the breeze show he posted a time of 10.1 despite the crosswind and rain. He sold on the first day for $52,000 to Steven Dwoskin.

The second one was HIP 1204, a homebred filly by New York sire Name Changer, out of our mare One By One. Back in 2024, she went through the Fasig Tipton ring as a weanling where she RNA’d for $1,000. Skipping the yearling sales, we sent her straight to Abraham where he got her ready for the two-year-old in training sales. For the breeze show she posted a time of 10.1 and a gallop out time of 21.0 and 33.3. She sold on the last day to the owner of Name Changer, Peter Kazamias for $37,000. We are so excited to see what this filly does in New York!
Her mom, One By One currently has a Mind Control colt by her side and she is being bred to Drain the Clock for the 2026 breeding season.
